Today we went canoeing in the morning and then we spent the afternoon in the city exploring the last corners, both amazed by how small it is. The evening was spent curled up with the animals in front of the fireplace watching a movie.
Savannah – day 3
22 JanToday we went sailing with David and one of his friends down the marsh waters. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The conversation was on heavy subjects such as sex, cultures, politics etc but agreements and disagreements alike were expressed in such a humble and vulnerable way. Very inspiring. I also tried to capture the animals but only some were willing to pose.
Savannah – day 1
20 JanIt is so beautiful here and very mysterious the same time. In the evening I feel like we are part of a mystery novel. Very exciting :-)
We are living in the home of David and Kelly who have a beautiful wooden house out on the marsh islands. In their large garden they are practicing permaculture gardening, growing cumquats, kale, lettuce etc. They have beautiful chickens who make eggs of many colors and sizes (blue, rose, brown), three dogs and six cats.

Tokyo – day 6
1 JulThis is our last day here. Before experiencing this place I thought it would induce creative overload meltdown in my brain, but the reality is that I have had no moments of visual awe while here. The strongest impressions are the quietness and the friendliness (and the complete lack of vegetarian exploration). Even though I am so grateful to have been here I have now reached a pleasant sense of boredom and I am looking forward to going home tomorrow.
